Senior Sub Editor
Location: Kottayam, Kerala
Key responsibilities
- Edit and strengthen news reports, features and investigations.
- Verify facts, legal references, names and data before publication.
- Guide reporters and maintain editorial quality and deadlines.
- Ensure responsible coverage of NDPS cases and sensitive issues.
Preferred profile
- Strong command of English and Malayalam.
- Excellent news sense, headline writing and proofreading ability.
- Relevant newsroom or editorial experience.
Sub Editor & Proofreader
Location: Kottayam, Kerala
Key responsibilities
- Edit copy for clarity, grammar, structure and consistency.
- Proofread English and Malayalam content before print and online publication.
- Fact-check names, dates, figures, captions and legal terminology.
- Support page planning, headlines and weekly production schedules.
Preferred profile
- Strong English and Malayalam language skills.
- Attention to detail and a disciplined approach to accuracy.
- Good understanding of current affairs and public-interest journalism.
